وَ رُوِيَ أَنَّ الْأَكْلَ عَلَى الْجَنَابَةِ يُورِثُ الْفَقْرَ[4].

Hadith.200 - It is reported (from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) ) narrated: 'If a man has intercourse with a woman while She is menstruating, he should give charity to a needy person in an amount sufficient to satisfy their hunger.'.
وَ رُوِيَ أَنَّ مَنِ اطَّلَى وَ تَدَلَّكَ بِالْحِنَّاءِ مِنْ قَرْنِهِ إِلَى قَدَمِهِ نَفَى اللَّهُ عَنْهُ الْفَقْرَ.
Hadith.271 - It is narrated (from Ahmad ibn Abi Abdullah) that he narrates: "Whoever applies a depilatory substance and massages himself with henna from head to toe, Allah (swt) removes poverty from him."
وَ قَالَ ع- غَسْلُ الرَّأْسِ بِالْخِطْمِيِّ يَنْفِي الْفَقْرَ وَ يَزِيدُ فِي الرِّزْقِ.
Hadith.291 – (Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) ) states: "Washing the head with Al-khatmi (a type of herbal shampoo or marshmallow root) removes poverty and increases sustenance."
مَنْ قَصَّ أَظْفَارَهُ يَوْمَ الْخَمِيسِ وَ تَرَكَ وَاحِداً لِيَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ نَفَى اللَّهُ عَنْهُ الْفَقْرَ
وَ قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يُصَلَّى عَنِ الْمَيِّتِ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ حَتَّى إِنَّهُ لَيَكُونُ فِي ضِيقٍ فَيُوَسِّعُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ ذَلِكَ الضِّيقَ ثُمَّ يُؤْتَى فَيُقَالُ لَهُ خُفِّفَ عَنْكَ هَذَا الضِّيقُ بِصَلَاةِ فُلَانٍ أَخِيكَ عَنْكَ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ فَأُشْرِكُ بَيْنَ رَجُلَيْنِ فِي رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَقَالَ ع إِنَّ الْمَيِّتَ لَيَفْرَحُ بِالتَّرَحُّمِ عَلَيْهِ وَ الِ
Hadith.554 - Omar ibn Yazid said: I asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) whether it is permissible to pray on behalf of a deceased person. Imam (as) replied: "Yes, even to the extent that if the deceased is in difficulty, Allah (swt) will alleviate that difficulty through the prayer of his brother for him. Then

وَ قَالَ ع مَنْ لَمْ يَأْكُلِ اللَّحْمَ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْماً سَاءَ خُلُقُهُ وَ مَنْ سَاءَ خُلُقُهُ فَأَذِّنُوا فِي أُذُنِهِ.

Hadith.958 - He (Imam Al-Sadiq) used to say between the Maghrib and Isha prayers: Allahumma biyadika maqadeeru al-layli wa an-nahar, wa maqadeeru ad-dunya wa al-akhirah, wa maqadeeru al-mawti wa al-hayah, wa maqadeeru ash-shamsi wa al-qamar, wa maqadeeru an-Nasri wa al-khidhlan, wa maqadeeru al-ghina wa al-faqr. وَ قَالَ ع إِذَا انْصَرَفْتَ مِنْ صَلَاةٍ مَكْتُوبَةٍ فَقُلْ- رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبّاً وَ بِالْإِسْلَامِ دِيناً وَ بِالْقُرْآنِ كِتَاباً وَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيّاً وَ بِعَلِيٍّ وَلِيّاً وَ الْحَسَنِ وَ الْحُسَيْنِ وَ- عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ وَ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ مُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ وَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُوسَى وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ- وَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ

كَانَ أَبِي ع يَقُولُ إِذَا صَلَّى الْغَدَاةَ- يَا مَنْ هُوَ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيَ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيدِ يَا مَنْ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَ قَلْبِهِ يَا مَنْ هُوَ بِالْمَنْظَرِ الْأَعْلَى يَا مَنْ لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ وَ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ* يَا أَجْوَدَ مَنْ سُئِلَ وَ يَا أَوْسَعَ مَنْ أَعْطَى وَ يَا خَيْرَ مَدْعُوٍّ وَ يَا أَفْضَلَ مَرْجُوٍّ[4] وَ يَا أَسْمَعَ السَّامِعِينَ وَ يَا أَبْصَرَ النَّاظِرِي

أَتَى النَّبِيَ ص رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَقِيتُ مِنْ وَسْوَسَةِ صَدْرِي شِدَّةً وَ أَنَا رَجُلٌ مُعِيلٌ مَدِينٌ مُحْوِجٌ فَقَالَ لَهُ كَرِّرْ هَذِهِ الْكَلِمَاتِ- تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى الْحَيِّ الَّذِي لا يَمُوتُ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ صَاحِبَةً وَ لَا وَلَداً وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَلِيٌّ مِنَ الذُّلِّ وَ كَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيراً قَالَ فَلَمْ يَلْب
Hadith.986 - Abu Hamzah al-Thumali narrated from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) that He said: "A man came to the Prophet (sw) and said: 'O’ Messenger of Allah (sw), I am experiencing great distress due to the whispers in my chest, and I am a man who is a caretaker, in debt, and in need.' إِذَا كُنْتَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَرِيضَةِ[3]-
"If you are in the obligatory prayer and you see one of your servants who has run away, or a debtor to whom you owe money, or a snake that you fear for your life, then break your prayer, follow your servant or debtor, and kill the snake."
وَ كَانَ مُعَاذٌ يَؤُمُّ فِي مَسْجِدٍ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص وَ يُطِيلُ الْقِرَاءَةَ وَ أَنَّهُ مَرَّ بِهِ رَجُلٌ فَافْتَتَحَ سُورَةً طَوِيلَةً فَقَرَأَ الرَّجُلُ لِنَفْسِهِ وَ صَلَّى ثُمَّ رَكِبَ رَاحِلَتَهُ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ ص فَبَعَثَ إِلَى مُعَاذٍ فَقَالَ يَا مُعَاذُ إِيَّاكَ أَنْ تَكُونَ فَتَّاناً[3] عَلَيْكَ بِالشَّمْسِ وَ ضُحَيهَا وَ ذَوَاتِهَا.

Hadith.1532 - Hammad ibn Uthman narrated from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) that during a discussion about the eclipse of the moon and the hardship that people endure because of it, He (Imam Al-Sadiq) said: "If a part of it (the moon) has cleared, then it has cleared”.
إِذَا فَدَحَكَ أَمْرٌ عَظِيمٌ[6] فَتَصَدَّقْ فِي نَهَارِكَ عَلَى سِتِّينَ مِسْكِيناً عَلَى كُلِّ مِسْكِينٍ نِصْفَ صَاعٍ بِصَاعِ النَّبِيِّ ص[7] مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ بُرٍّ أَوْ شَعِيرٍ فَإِذَا كَانَ بِاللَّيْلِ اغْتَسَلْتَ فِي ثُلُثِ اللَّيْلِ الْأَخِيرِ ثُمَّ لَبِسْتَ أَدْنَى مَا يَلْبَسُ مَنْ تَعُولُ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ[1] إِلَّا أَنَّ عَلَيْكَ فِي تِلْكَ الثِّيَابِ إِزَاراً ثُمَّ تُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ تَقْرَأُ فِيهِمَا
"If you are afflicted with a grave matter, give charity during the day to sixty needy people, with each receiving half a sa' of the Prophet’s (sw) measure from dates, wheat, or barley. At night, during the last third of the night, perform a ritual bath (ghusl), then wear the simplest clothing that one in your care wear
كَانَتْ بَيْنِي وَ بَيْنَ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ- خُصُومَةٌ ذَاتُ خَطَرٍ عَظِيمٍ فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع فَذَكَرْتُ لَهُ ذَلِكَ وَ قُلْتُ عَلِّمْنِي شَيْئاً لَعَلَّ اللَّهَ يَرُدُّ عَلَيَّ مَظْلِمَتِي[2] فَقَالَ إِذَا أَرَدْتَ الْعَدُوَّ فَصَلِّ بَيْنَ الْقَبْرِ وَ الْمِنْبَرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ أَوْ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ وَ إِنْ شِئْتَ فَفِي بَيْتِكَ وَ اسْأَلِ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُعِينَكَ وَ خُذْ شَيْئاً
I had a significant dispute with a man from Medina. I went to Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) and mentioned the matter to him and asked: "Teach me something that might make Allah (swt) return my right to me." «إِنَّ اَللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَرَضَ اَلزَّكَاةَ كَمَا فَرَضَ اَلصَّلاَةَ فَلَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلاً حَمَلَ اَلزَّكَاةَ فَأَعْطَاهَا عَلاَنِيَةً لَمْ يَكُنْ عَلَيْهِ فِي ذَلِكَ عَيْبٌ وَ ذَلِكَ أَنَّ اَللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَرَضَ لِلْفُقَرَاءِ فِي أَمْوَالِ اَلْأَغْنِيَاءِ مَا يَكْتَفُونَ بِهِ وَ لَوْ عَلِمَ أَنَّ اَلَّذِي فَرَضَ لَهُمْ لاَ يَكْفِيهِمْ لَزَادَهُمْ وَ إِنَّمَا يُؤْتَى اَلْفُقَرَاءُ فِيمَا أُوتُوا مِنْ مَن
"Indeed, Allah (swt), the Almighty and Majestic, has ordained Zakat just as He has ordained prayer. If a man were to carry the Zakat and give it openly, there would be no fault upon him in that, because Allah (swt), the Almighty and Majestic, has decreed for the poor in the wealth of the rich that which suffices them.
إِنَّمَا وُضِعَتِ الزَّكَاةُ قُوتاً لِلْفُقَرَاءِ وَ تَوْفِيراً لِأَمْوَالِهِمْ[2].
"Zakat was established as sustenance for the poor and a means of increasing their wealth."
وَ رَوَى حَرِيزٌ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ أَنَّهُمَا قَالا لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع أَ رَأَيْتَ قَوْلَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَ[5] إِنَّمَا الصَّدَقاتُ لِلْفُقَراءِ وَ الْمَساكِينِ وَ الْعامِلِينَ عَلَيْها وَ الْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَ فِي الرِّقابِ وَ الْغارِمِينَ وَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَ ابْنِ السَّبِيلِ فَرِيضَةً مِنَ اللَّهِ[6]

اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى- لَتُبْلَوُنَ فِي أَمْوالِكُمْ وَ أَنْفُسِكُمْ فِي أَمْوَالِكُمْ إِخْرَاجُ الزَّكَاةِ وَ فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ تَوْطِينُ الْأَنْفُسِ عَلَى الصَّبْرِ مَعَ مَا فِي ذَلِكَ مِنْ أَدَاءِ شُكْرِ نِعَمِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ الطَّمَعِ فِي الزِّيَادَةِ مَعَ مَا فِيهِ مِنَ الزِّيَادَةِ وَ الرَّأْفَةِ وَ الرَّحْمَةِ لِأَهْلِ الضَّعْفِ[3] وَ الْعَطْفِ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْمَسْكَنَةِ وَ الْحَثِّ لَهُم

إِنَّمَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ الزَّكَاةَ فِي كُلِّ أَلْفٍ خَمْسَةً وَ عِشْرِينَ دِرْهَماً لِأَنَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ خَلَقَ الْخَلْقَ فَعَلِمَ غَنِيَّهُمْ وَ فَقِيرَهُمْ وَ قَوِيَّهُمْ وَ ضَعِيفَهُمْ فَجَعَلَ مِنْ كُلِّ أَلْفٍ[2] خَمْسَةً وَ عِشْرِينَ مِسْكِيناً وَ لَوْ لَا ذَلِكَ لَزَادَهُمُ اللَّهُ لِأَنَّهُ خَالِقُهُمْ وَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِمْ
لَا يُجْزِي عَنْهُ[3].
Hadith.1616 - He (Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as)) was asked about a man who gave the Zakat of his wealth to someone he thought was needy, but later found out that the recipient was wealthy. Imam (as) replied: "It does not suffice for him (the obligation is not fulfilled)."
قُلْتُ لِأَبِي الْحَسَنِ الْأَوَّلِ ع رَجُلٌ مَاتَ وَ عَلَيْهِ زَكَاةٌ وَ أَوْصَى أَنْ تُقْضَى عَنْهُ الزَّكَاةُ وَ وُلْدُهُ مَحَاوِيجُ إِنْ دَفَعُوهَا أَضَرَّ بِهِمْ ذَلِكَ ضَرَراً شَدِيداً فَقَالَ يُخْرِجُونَهَا فَيَعُودُونَ بِهَا عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَ يُخْرِجُونَ مِنْهَا شَيْئاً فَيُدْفَعُ إِلَى غَيْرِهِمْ[1].

الْحَقُّ الْمَعْلُومُ لَيْسَ مِنَ الزَّكَاةِ هُوَ الشَّيْءُ تُخْرِجُهُ مِنْ مَالِكَ إِنْ شِئْتَ كُلَّ جُمْعَةٍ وَ إِنْ شِئْتَ كُلَّ شَهْرٍ وَ لِكُلِّ ذِي فَضْلٍ فَضْلُهُ وَ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ- وَ إِنْ تُخْفُوها وَ تُؤْتُوهَا الْفُقَراءَ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ الزَّكَاةِ وَ الْمَاعُونُ لَيْسَ مِنَ الزَّكَاةِ هُوَ الْمَعْرُوفُ تَصْنَعُهُ وَ الْقَرْضُ تُقْرِضُهُ وَ مَتَاعُ الْبَيْتِ تُعِيرُهُ وَ
"The specified right (al-haqq al-ma‘loom) is not part of Zakat. It is something you give from your wealth, if you wish, every Friday, or if you wish, every month. اسْتَعْمَلَنِي[3] أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ع عَلَى أَرْبَعَةِ رَسَاتِيقَ الْمَدَائِنِ[4] الْبِهْقُبَاذَاتِ[5] وَ بَهُرَسِيرَ وَ نَهَرِ جَوْبَرَ وَ نَهَرِ الْمَلِكِ[1] وَ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَضَعَ عَلَى كُلِّ جَرِيبِ زَرْعٍ غَلِيظٍ دِرْهَماً وَ نِصْفاً وَ عَلَى كُلِّ جَرِيبٍ وَسَطٍ دِرْهَماً وَ عَلَى كُلِّ جَرِيبِ زَرْعٍ رَقِيقٍ ثُلُثَيْ دِرْهَمٍ وَ عَلَى كُلِّ جَرِيبِ كَرْمٍ عَشَرَةَ دَرَاهِم

وَيْحَهُ أَ مَا يَعْلَمُ أَنَّ لَهُ بِكُلِّ دِرْهَمٍ عَشَرَةً إِذَا حَلَّلَهُ- وَ إِذَا لَمْ يُحَلِّلْهُ فَإِنَّمَا لَهُ دِرْهَمٌ بَدَلَ دِرْهَمٍ[1].

خِيَارُكُمْ سُمَحَاؤُكُمْ وَ شِرَارُكُمْ بُخَلَاؤُكُمْ وَ مِنْ خَالِصِ الْإِيمَانِ الْبِرُّ بِالْإِخْوَانِ وَ السَّعْيُ فِي حَوَائِجِهِمْ وَ إِنَّ الْبَارَّ بِالْإِخْوَانِ لَيُحِبُّهُ الرَّحْمَنُ وَ فِي ذَلِكَ مَرْغَمَةُ الشَّيْطَانِ وَ تَزَحْزُحٌ عَنِ النِّيرَانِ[1] وَ دُخُولُ الْجِنَانِ ثُمَّ قَالَ لِجَمِيلٍ يَا جَمِيلُ أَخْبِرْ بِهَذَا غُرَرَ أَصْحَابِكَ-[2] قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ مَنْ غُرَرُ أَصْحَابِي قَالَ هُم
مَنْ يَضْمَنُ لِي أَرْبَعَةً بِأَرْبَعَةِ أَبْيَاتٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَنْفِقْ وَ لَا تَخَفْ فَقْراً وَ أَنْصِفِ النَّاسَ مِنْ نَفْسِكَ[2] وَ أَفْشِ السَّلَامَ فِي الْعَالَمِ[3] وَ اتْرُكِ الْمِرَاءَ وَ إِنْ كُنْتَ مُحِقّاً[4]
مَا عَالَ امْرُؤٌ فِي اقْتِصَادٍ[1]
ضَمِنْتُ لِمَنِ اقْتَصَدَ أَنْ لَا يَفْتَقِرَ[2]. وَ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ- يَسْئَلُونَكَ ما ذا يُنْفِقُونَ قُلِ الْعَفْوَ وَ الْعَفْوُ الْوَسَطُ[3] وَ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ- وَ الَّذِينَ إِذا أَنْفَقُوا لَمْ يُسْرِفُوا وَ لَمْ يَقْتُرُوا وَ كانَ بَيْنَ ذلِكَ قَواماً وَ الْقَوَامُ الْوَسَطُ
الْبِرُّ وَ الصَّدَقَةُ يَنْفِيَانِ الْفَقْرَ وَ يَزِيدَانِ فِي الْعُمُرِ وَ يَدْفَعَانِ عَنْ صَاحِبِهِمَا سَبْعِينَ مِيتَةَ سَوْءٍ
لَا تَقْطَعُوا عَلَى السَّائِلِ مَسْأَلَتَهُ[2] فَلَوْ لَا أَنَّ الْمَسَاكِينَ يَكْذِبُونَ مَا أَفْلَحَ مَنْ يَرُدُّهُمْ
وَ سُئِلَ الصَّادِقُ ع أَيُّ الصَّدَقَةِ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ جُهْدُ الْمُقِلِ[1] أَ مَا سَمِعْتَ قَوْلَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَ وَ يُؤْثِرُونَ عَلى أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَ لَوْ كانَ بِهِمْ خَصاصَةٌ هَلْ تَرَى هَاهُنَا فَضْلًا[2].
Hadith.1751 - Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) was asked, "Which charity is the best?" Imam (as) replied: "The charity given by one in hardship. Have you not heard the words of Allah (swt), the Mighty and Glorious: 'And they give preference over themselves, even though they are in need.' Do you see any surplus her
وَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع اتَّبِعُوا قَوْلَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص إِنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ فَتَحَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ بَابَ مَسْأَلَةٍ فَتَحَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ بَابَ فَقْرٍ.
Hadith.1753 - Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as), said: "Follow the saying of the Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace be upon him and his family) where he said: 'Whoever opens a door of begging for themselves, Allah (swt) will open for them a door of poverty.'"
إِيَّاكُمْ وَ سُؤَالَ النَّاسِ فَإِنَّهُ ذُلُّ الدُّنْيَا وَ فَقْرٌ تَتَعَجَّلُونَهُ وَ حِسَابٌ طَوِيلٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
إِنَّمَا فَرَضَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ الصِّيَامَ لِيَسْتَوِيَ بِهِ الْغَنِيُّ وَ الْفَقِيرُ وَ ذَلِكَ أَنَّ الْغَنِيَّ لَمْ يَكُنْ لِيَجِدَ مَسَّ الْجُوعِ فَيَرْحَمَ الْفَقِيرَ لِأَنَّ الْغَنِيَّ كُلَّمَا أَرَادَ شَيْئاً قَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ فَأَرَادَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ أَنْ يُسَوِّيَ بَيْنَ خَلْقِهِ وَ أَنْ يُذِيقَ الْغَنِيَّ مَسَّ الْجُوعِ وَ الْأَلَمِ لِيَرِقَّ عَلَى الضَّعِيفِ فَيَرْحَمَ الْجَائِعَ.

وَ كَتَبَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُوسَى الرِّضَا ع إِلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ فِيمَا كَتَبَ مِنْ جَوَابِ مَسَائِلِهِ عِلَّةُ الصَّوْمِ لِعِرْفَانِ مَسِّ الْجُوعِ وَ الْعَطَشِ لِيَكُونَ ذَلِيلًا مُسْتَكِيناً مَأْجُوراً مُحْتَسِباً صَابِراً وَ يَكُونَ ذَلِكَ دَلِيلًا لَهُ عَلَى شَدَائِدِ الْآخِرَةِ مَعَ مَا فِيهِ مِنَ الِانْكِسَارِ لَهُ عَنِ الشَّهَوَاتِ وَاعِظاً لَهُ فِي الْعَاجِلِ دَلِيلًا عَلَى الْآجِلِ لِي

وَ كَتَبَ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ إِلَى أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ ع لِمَ فَرَضَ اللَّهُ الصَّوْمَ فَوَرَدَ فِي الْجَوَابِ لِيَجِدَ الْغَنِيُّ مَسَّ الْجُوعِ فَيَمُنَّ عَلَى الْفَقِيرِ[3].
Hadith.1768 - Hamza ibn Muhammad wrote to Abu Muhammad (as) asking: "Why did Allah (swt) make fasting obligatory?" The response came (from Imam (as)): "So that the rich may feel the pain of hunger and thus show generosity to the poor."
وَ قَالَ ع إِذَا نَزَلَتْ بِالرَّجُلِ النَّازِلَةُ أَوِ الشِّدَّةُ[1] فَلْيَصُمْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ يَقُولُ- وَ اسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَ الصَّلاةِ
Hadith.1777 - Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) said: "If a person faces a calamity or hardship, let him fast, for Allah (swt), the Almighty, says: "And seek help through patience and prayer" (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:45)
يُعْتِقُ رَقَبَةً أَوْ يَصُومُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ أَوْ يُطْعِمُ سِتِّينَ مِسْكِيناً فَإِنْ لَمْ يَقْدِرْ تَصَدَّقَ بِمَا يُطِيقُ[4].
