رجل لأبي عبد الله ع جعلت فداك إني لما قضيت نسكي للعمرة أتيت أهلي و لم أقصر قال عليك بدنة قال فإني لما أردت ذلك منها و لم تكن قصرت امتنعت فلما غلبتها قرضت بعض شعرها بأسنانها قال رحمها الله إنها كانت أفْقَهَ مِنْكَ عَلَيْكَ بَدَنَةٌ وَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهَا شَيْ‌ءٌ[5].

A man said to Imam Abu Abdullah (as), "May I be your ransom! After completing my rituals for ‘Umrah, I went to my wife but had not trimmed my hair." Imam (as) said: "You must offer a camel as expiation." The man then said: "When I attempted this with her, and she had not trimmed her hair either, she resisted. When I ov

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ دَخَلْنَا بِعُمْرَةٍ فَنُقَصِّرُ أَوْ نَحْلِقُ فَقَالَ «اِحْلِقْ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ تَرَحَّمَ عَلَى اَلْمُحَلِّقِينَ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ وَ عَلَى اَلْمُقَصِّرِينَ مَرَّةً.

I asked Abu Abdullah (as): "We have entered Mecca for Umrah. Should we trim (taqsir) or shave (halq)?" Imam (as) said: "Shave, for the Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace be upon him and his family) invoked mercy for those who shave their heads three times and for those who trim their hair only once."

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع‌ إِذَا غَرَبَتِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ فَقُلِ اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنْ هَذَا الْمَوْقِفِ وَ ارْزُقْنِيهِ أَبَداً مَا أَبْقَيْتَنِي وَ اقْلِبْنِي الْيَوْمَ مُفْلِحاً مُنْجِحاً مُسْتَجَاباً لِي مَرْحُوماً مَغْفُوراً لِي بِأَفْضَلِ مَا يَنْقَلِبُ بِهِ الْيَوْمَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ وَفْدِكَ وَ حُجَّاجِ بَيْتِكَ الْحَرَامِ وَ اجْعَلْنِي الْيَوْمَ مِنْ أَكْرَمِ وَفْدِكَ عَلَيْك

DEPARTING FROM ARAFAT When the sun sets on the Day of Arafah, proceed calmly and with dignity. وَ رَوَى عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ‌ وَكَّلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ بِالْحُسَيْنِ ص سَبْعِينَ أَلْفَ مَلَكٍ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْهِ فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ شُعْثاً غُبْراً وَ يَدْعُونَ لِمَنْ زَارَهُ وَ يَقُولُونَ يَا رَبِّ هَؤُلَاءِ زُوَّارُ الْحُسَيْنِ افْعَلْ بِهِمْ وَ افْعَلْ بِهِمْ.

"Allah (swt), the Mighty and Exalted, has appointed seventy thousand angels to be with Hussain ibn Ali (as). They send blessings upon him every day, disheveled and dusty, and they pray for those who visit him. They say, 'O Lord (azj), these are the visitors of Hussain ibn Ali (as). وَ تَقُولُ عِنْدَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع‌[1] أَيْضاً- الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَكْرَمَنِي بِمَعْرِفَتِهِ وَ مَعْرِفَةِ رَسُولِهِ وَ مَنْ فَرَضَ طَاعَتَهُ رَحْمَةً مِنْهُ لِي وَ تَطَوُّلًا مِنْهُ عَلَيَّ وَ مَنَّ عَلَيَّ بِالْإِيمَانِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي سَيَّرَنِي فِي بِلَادِهِ وَ حَمَلَنِي عَلَى دَوَابِّهِ وَ طَوَى لِيَ الْبَعِيدَ- وَ دَفَعَ عَنِّيَ الْمَكْرُوهَ حَتَّى أَدْخَلَنِي حَرَمَ أَخِي نَبِيِّهِ وَ

إِلَيْهِ خَيْراً لِي مِنْكُمْ أَنْتُمْ أَهْلُ بَيْتِ اَلرَّحْمَةِ وَ دَعَائِمُ اَلدِّينِ وَ أَرْكَانُ اَلْأَرْضِ وَ اَلشَّجَرَةُ اَلطَّيِّبَةُ اَللَّهُمَّ لاَ تُخَيِّبْ تَوَجُّهِي إِلَيْكَ، بِرَسُولِكَ وَ آلِ رَسُولِكَ وَ اِسْتِشْفَاعِي بِهِمْ اَللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ مَنَنْتَ عَلَيَّ بِزِيَارَةِ مَوْلاَيَ وَ وَلاَيَتِهِ وَ

وَ إِذَا أَرَدْتَ أَنْ تُوَدِّعَهُ فَقُلْ‌[2] السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ وَ رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ أَسْتَوْدِعُكَ اللَّهَ وَ أَسْتَرْعِيكَ وَ أَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكَ السَّلَامَ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَ بِالرَّسُولِ وَ بِمَا جَاءَتْ بِهِ وَ دَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ‌ فَاكْتُبْنا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ‌[3] أَشْهَدُ فِي مَمَاتِي عَلَى مَا شَهِدْتُ عَلَيْهِ فِي حَيَاتِي أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكُمُ الْأَئِمَّةُ وَاحِداً بَعْدَ وَاحِدٍ وَ أَشْهَدُ أَنّ

إِذَا أَرَدْتَ أَنْ تُوَدِّعَهُ فَقُلْ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ وَ رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ نَسْتَوْدِعُكَ اللَّهَ وَ نَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكَ السَّلَامَ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَ بِالرَّسُولِ وَ بِمَا جَاءَ بِهِ وَ دَلَّ عَلَيْهِ‌ وَ اتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ‌ يَا رَبِ‌ فَاكْتُبْنا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ‌ اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنَّا وَ مِنْهُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَنْفَعَنَا بِحُبِّهِ اللَّهُمَّ ابْ

قَالَ لِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع‌ يَا سَدِيرُ تَزُورُ قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ ع فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ لَا قَالَ مَا أَجْفَاكُمْ فَتَزُورُهُ فِي كُلِّ شَهْرٍ قُلْتُ لَا قَالَ فَتَزُورُهُ فِي كُلِّ سَنَةٍ قُلْتُ قَدْ يَكُونُ ذَلِكَ قَالَ يَا سَدِيرُ مَا أَجْفَاكُمْ لِلْحُسَيْنِ ع أَ مَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ لِلَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى أَلْفَ أَلْفِ مَلَكٍ شُعْثٌ غُبْرٌ يَبْكُونَ وَ يَزُورُونَ وَ لَا يَفْتُرُو

Hadith.3203 - In a narration from Hanan ibn Sadeer from his father, he said: Abu Abdullah Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) said to me: "O Sadeer, do you visit the grave of al-Husayn (as) every day?" I said: "May I be your ransom, no." Imam (as) said: "How distant you are! Do you visit it every month?" I said: "No.

إِذَا أَرَدْتَ زِيَارَةَ قَبْرِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُوسَى ع بِطُوسَ فَاغْتَسِلْ عِنْدَ خُرُوجِكَ مِنْ مَنْزِلِكَ وَ قُلْ حِينَ تَغْتَسِلُ‌[1]- اللَّهُمَّ طَهِّرْنِي وَ طَهِّرْ لِي قَلْبِي وَ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَ أَجْرِ عَلَى لِسَانِي مِدْحَتَكَ وَ الثَّنَاءَ عَلَيْكَ فَإِنَّهُ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِكَ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ لِي طَهُوراً وَ شِفَاءً وَ تَقُولُ حِينَ تَخْرُجُ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَ بِاللَّهِ وَ إِلَ

Hadith.3210 - When you wish to visit the grave of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha (as) in Tus, perform ghusl (ritual purification) as you leave your home and say while washing: "O Allah (swt), purify me, purify my heart for me, expand my chest, and cause Your praise and thanks to flow on my tongue, for there is no power exc

قَالَ عَلِيٌّ ع‌ يَدُ اللَّهِ فَوْقَ رَأْسِ‌ الْحَاكِمِ تُرَفْرِفُ بِالرَّحْمَةِ- فَإِذَا حَافَ فِي الْحُكْمِ وَكَلَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ إِلَى نَفْسِهِ‌[1].

Hadith.3228 - Al-Sakuni narrated with his chain of transmission that Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) said: "The hand of Allah (swt) hovers with mercy above the head of the judge. But if he deviates in judgment, Allah (swt), the Mighty and Majestic, leaves him to himself."

كَتَبَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ إِلَى أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ع‌ هَلْ تُقْبَلُ شَهَادَةُ الْوَصِيِّ لِلْمَيِّتِ بِدَيْنٍ لَهُ عَلَى رَجُلٍ مَعَ شَاهِدٍ آخَرَ عَدْلٍ فَوَقَّعَ ع إِذَا شَهِدَ مَعَهُ آخَرُ عَدْلٌ فَعَلَى الْمُدَّعِي يَمِينٌ‌[2] وَ كَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ أَ يَجُوزُ لِلْوَصِيِّ أَنْ يَشْهَدَ لِوَارِثِ الْمَيِّتِ صَغِيراً أَوْ كَبِيراً بِحَقٍّ لَهُ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ

Hadith.3362 - Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Saffar, may Allah (swt) have mercy on him, wrote to Abu Muhammad al-Hasan ibn Ali (as): "Is the testimony of the executor (al-wasi) for the deceased regarding a debt owed to him by a man acceptable along with another just witness?" Imam (as) replied: "If another just witness testi

لآِخَرَ اخْطُبْ لِي فُلَانَةَ فَمَا فَعَلْتَ شَيْئاً مِمَّا قَاوَلْتَ مِنْ صَدَاقٍ أَوْ ضَمِنْتَ مِنْ شَيْ‌ءٍ أَوْ شَرَطْتَ فَذَلِكَ لِي رِضًا وَ هُوَ لَازِمٌ لِي وَ لَمْ يُشْهِدْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ فَذَهَبَ فَخَطَبَ لَهُ وَ بَذَلَ عَنْهُ الصَّدَاقَ وَ غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ مِمَّا طَالَبُوهُ وَ سَأَلُوهُ فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ أَنْكَرَ ذَلِكَ كُلَّهُ قَالَ يُغَرَّمُ لَهَا نِصْفَ الصَّدَاقِ عَنْهُ‌[2] وَ ذَلِكَ أَنَّهُ هُوَ الَّذِي ضَيَّع

Hadith.3384 - It is narrated from Dawood ibn Al-Husayn, from Umar ibn Hanzalah, from Abu Abdullah (as): I asked him about a man who said to another, "Propose marriage to so-and-so on my behalf, and whatever you negotiate regarding the dowry, guarantee, or conditions will be binding on me and accepted." اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَ رَبَّ الْأَرَضِينَ السَّبْعِ وَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَ الشَّهَادَةِ الرَّحْمَنَ الرَّحِيمَ أَيُّهُمَا كَانَ صَاحِبَ الدَّابَّةِ وَ هُوَ أَوْلَى بِهَا فَأَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُخْرِجَ سَهْمَهُ فَخَرَجَ سَهْمُ أَحَدِهِمَا فَقَضَى لَهُ بِهَا.

Hadith.3393 - Zur'ah narrated from Sama'ah, who said that Abu Abdillah (as) said: "Two men disputed before Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) over a beast, each claiming that it was born in his stable. Both presented equal evidence in number. So, Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) drew lots between them. He marked the two lots with

أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنِ الْأَخْرَسِ كَيْفَ يَحْلِفُ إِذَا ادُّعِيَ عَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لِلْمُدَّعِي بَيِّنَةٌ فَقَالَ إِنَّ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع أُتِيَ بِأَخْرَسَ وَ ادُّعِيَ عَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ فَأَنْكَرَهُ وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لِلْمُدَّعِي عَلَيْهِ بَيِّنَةٌ فَقَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يُخْرِجْنِي مِنَ الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى بَيَّنْتُ لِلْأُمَّةِ جَمِيعَ مَا يَحْتَاجُ إِلَيْه

I asked Abu Abdullah (as), about an oath for a mute person if a debt is claimed against him and the claimant has no evidence. Imam (as) said: "Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, was once brought a case involving a mute person against whom a debt was claimed. The mute denied it, and the claimant had no eviden

وَ قِيلَ لِلصَّادِقِ ع- لِمَ قُلْتُمْ مَوْلَى الرَّجُلِ مِنْهُ قَالَ لِأَنَّهُ خُلِقَ مِنْ طِينِهِ‌[2] ثُمَّ فُرِّقَ بَيْنَهُمَا فَرَدَّهُ السَّبْيُ إِلَيْهِ فَعَطَفَ عَلَيْهِ مَا كَانَ فِيهِ مِنْهُ فَأَعْتَقَهُ فَلِذَلِكَ هُوَ مِنْهُ.

Hadith.3495 - It was said to Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as): "Why do you say that a man's mawla (freed slave) is considered to be from him?" Imam (as) said: "Because he was created from his clay, then they were separated, and captivity brought him back to him. So, he showed compassion for what was in him (the sh

اكْتُبْ لِلْآبِقِ فِي وَرَقَةٍ أَوْ فِي قِرْطَاسٍ- بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ* يَدُ فُلَانٍ مَغْلُولَةٌ إِلَى عُنُقِهِ إِذَا أَخْرَجَهَا لَمْ يَكَدْ يَراها وَ مَنْ لَمْ يَجْعَلِ اللَّهُ لَهُ نُوراً فَما لَهُ مِنْ نُورٍ ثُمَّ لُفَّهَا ثُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا بَيْنَ عُودَيْنِ ثُمَّ أَلْقِهَا فِي كَوَّةِ بَيْتٍ مُظْلِمٍ فِي الْمَوْضِعِ الَّذِي كَانَ يَأْوِي فِيهِ[2].

يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَدْ عَلَّمْتُ ابْنِي هَذَا الْكِتَابَ فَفِي أَيِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ أُسْلِمُهُ فَقَالَ أَسْلِمْهُ لِلَّهِ أَبُوكَ وَ لَا تُسْلِمْهُ فِي خَمْسٍ لَا تُسْلِمْهُ سَيَّاءً وَ لَا صَائِغاً وَ لَا قَصَّاباً وَ لَا حَنَّاطاً وَ لَا نَخَّاساً فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَ مَا السَّيَّاءُ[4] قَالَ الَّذِي يَبِيعُ الْأَكْفَانَ وَ يَتَمَنَّى مَوْتَ أُمَّتِي وَ لَلْمَوْلُودُ مِنْ أُمَّتِي أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا طَلَعَ

A man came to the Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, and said: "O Messenger of Allah (swt), I have taught my son to read and write. In what profession should I place him?" The Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, replied:"Entrust him to Allah (swt) and do not place him in five professions: Do not make him

لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع إِنِّي اتَّخَذْتُ رَحًى فِيهَا مَجْلِسِي وَ يَجْلِسُ إِلَيَّ فِيهَا أَصْحَابِي قَالَ ذَاكَ رِفْقُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَ‌[1].

I said to Abu Abdullah (as): "I have set up a millstone, and it is my sitting place where my companions also sit with me." Imam (as) said: "That is Allah's (swt) mercy."

إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص قَالَ‌ مَا مِنْ نَفَقَةٍ أَحَبَّ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مِنْ نَفَقَةِ قَصْدٍ وَ يُبْغِضُ الْإِسْرَافَ إِلَّا فِي الْحَجِّ وَ الْعُمْرَةِ فَرَحِمَ اللَّهُ مُؤْمِناً كَسَبَ طَيِّباً وَ أَنْفَقَ مِنْ قَصْدٍ أَوْ قَدَّمَ فَضْلًا[1].

Hadith.3621 - Ibn Abi Ya'fur narrated from Abu Abdullah (as) that he said: "The Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace be upon him and his family) said: 'There is no spending more beloved to Allah (swt), the Mighty and Majestic, than moderate spending. He (swt) dislikes extravagance, except in Hajj and Umrah. May Allah (swt)

بَاشِرْ كِبَارَ أُمُورِكَ بِنَفْسِكَ وَ كِلْ مَا صَغُرَ مِنْهَا إِلَى غَيْرِكَ[4] فَقِيلَ ضَرْبُ أَيِّ شَيْءٍ فَقَالَ ضَرْبُ أَشْرِيَةِ الْعَقَارِ وَ مَا أَشْبَهَهَا[5]

لَيْسَ لِلْمَرْأَةِ مَعَ زَوْجِهَا أَمْرٌ فِي عِتْقٍ وَ لَا صَدَقَةٍ وَ لَا تَدْبِيرٍ وَ لَا هِبَةٍ وَ لَا نَذْرٍ[2] فِي مَالِهَا إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ زَوْجِهَا إِلَّا فِي زَكَاةٍ أَوْ بِرِّ وَالِدَيْهَا أَوْ صِلَةِ قَرَابَتِهَا.

فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ- لا خَيْرَ فِي كَثِيرٍ مِنْ نَجْواهُمْ إِلَّا مَنْ أَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةٍ أَوْ مَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ إِصْلاحٍ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فَقَالَ يَعْنِي بِالْمَعْرُوفِ الْقَرْضَ[3]

مَنِ اشْتَرَى دَابَّةً فَلْيَقُمْ مِنْ جَانِبِهَا الْأَيْسَرِ وَ يَأْخُذُ نَاصِيَتَهَا بِيَدِهِ الْيُمْنَى وَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَى رَأْسِهَا فَاتِحَةَ الْكِتَابِ وَ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ وَ الْمُعَوِّذَتَيْنِ وَ آخِرَ الْحَشْرِ وَ آخِرَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ قُلِ ادْعُوا اللَّهَ أَوِ ادْعُوا الرَّحْمنَ وَ آيَةَ الْكُرْسِيِّ فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ أَمَانُ تِلْكَ الدَّابَّةِ مِنَ الْآفَاتِ.

كَتَبَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ‌[2] إِلَى أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ع‌ فِي رَجُلٍ اشْتَرَى مِنْ رَجُلٍ بَيْتاً فِي دَارٍ لَهُ بِجَمِيعِ حُقُوقِهِ وَ فَوْقَهُ بَيْتٌ آخَرُ هَلْ يَدْخُلُ الْبَيْتُ الْأَعْلَى فِي حُقُوقِ الْبَيْتِ الْأَسْفَلِ أَمْ لَا فَوَقَّعَ ع لَيْسَ لَهُ إِلَّا مَا اشْتَرَاهُ بِاسْمِهِ وَ مَوْضِعِهِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ.

Hadith.3884 - Muhammad bin Al-Hasan Al-Saffar, may Allah (swt) have mercy on him, wrote to Abu Muhammad Al-Hasan bin Ali (as) regarding a man who purchased a house in a property with all its rights, and there was another house above it. مَنْ بَاعَ الطَّعَامَ نُزِعَتْ مِنْهُ الرَّحْمَةُ[4].

لِزَيْنَبَ الْعَطَّارَةِ الْحَوْلَاءِ إِذَا بِعْتِ فَأَحْسِنِي وَ لَا تَغُشِّي فَإِنَّهُ أَنْقَى وَ أَبْقَى لِلْمَالِ[1]

قَالَ ع‌ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ غَشَّ مُسْلِماً[2].

Hadith.3986 - Imam (as) said: "He who deceives a Muslim is not from us."

قَالَ ع‌ مَنْ غَشَّ الْمُسْلِمِينَ حُشِرَ مَعَ الْيَهُودِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لِأَنَّهُمْ أَغَشُّ النَّاسِ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ‌[3].

Hadith.3987 - Imam (as) said: "Whoever deceives the Muslims will be resurrected with the Jews on the Day of Judgment, because they are the most deceitful people towards the Muslims."

لَهُ لِمَ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ الْخَمْرَ وَ الْمَيْتَةَ وَ الدَّمَ وَ لَحْمَ الْخِنْزِيرِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى لَمْ يُحَرِّمْ ذَلِكَ عَلَى عِبَادِهِ وَ أَحَلَّ لَهُمْ مَا وَرَاءَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ رَغْبَةٍ فِيمَا أَحَلَّ لَهُمْ وَ لَا زُهْدٍ فِيمَا حَرَّمَهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ لَكِنَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ خَلَقَ الْخَلْقَ فَعَلِمَ مَا تَقُومُ بِهِ أَبْدَانُهُمْ وَ مَا يُصْلِحُهُمْ فَأَحَلَّهُ لَهُمْ وَ أَبَاحَهُ ل

Hadith.4215 - Muhammad ibn 'Udhafir narrated from his father, who narrated from Abu Ja'far Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as): I asked Imam (as): "Why did Allah (swt) make wine, dead meat, blood, and the flesh of pigs forbidden?" Imam (as) replied: "Indeed, Allah (swt), Blessed and Exalted, did not forbid these things

لَا يُؤْكَلُ مِنَ الْغِرْبَانِ زَاغٌ وَ لَا غَيْرُهُ وَ لَا يُؤْكَلُ مِنَ الْحَيَّاتِ شَيْءٌ[2]

وَ خَطَبَ أَبُو طَالِبٍ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ لَمَّا تَزَوَّجَ النَّبِيُّ ص- خَدِيجَةَ بِنْتَ خُوَيْلِدٍ رَحِمَهَا اللَّهُ بَعْدَ أَنْ خَطَبَهَا إِلَى أَبِيهَا وَ مِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَقُولُ إِلَى عَمِّهَا[5] فَأَخَذَ بِعِضَادَتَيِ الْبَابِ وَ مَنْ شَاهَدَهُ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ حُضُورٌ فَقَالَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي جَعَلَنَا مِنْ زَرْعِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَ ذُرِّيَّةِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَ جَعَلَ لَنَا بَيْتاً مَحْجُوجاً وَ حَرَماً آمِ

Hadith.4398 - When Abu Talib (as), may Allah (swt) have mercy upon him, arranged the marriage of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) to Khadijah bint Khuwaylid {s.a}, may Allah (swt) have mercy upon her, after proposing to her through her father, or as some say, through her uncle. الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ مُتِمِّ النِّعَمِ بِرَحْمَتِهِ وَ الْهَادِي إِلَى شُكْرِهِ بِمَنِّهِ وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ خَيْرِ خَلْقِهِ الَّذِي جَمَعَ فِيهِ مِنَ الْفَضْلِ مَا فَرَّقَهُ فِي الرُّسُلِ قَبْلَهُ‌[3] وَ جَعَلَ تُرَاثَهُ إِلَى مَنْ خَصَّهُ بِخِلَافَتِهِ‌[4] وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيماً وَ هَذَا أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ زَوَّجَنِي ابْنَتَهُ عَلَى مَا فَرَضَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لِلْمُسْلِمَاتِ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِي

لَمَّا زَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص فَاطِمَةَ مِنْ عَلِيٍّ ع أَتَاهُ نَاسٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ فَقَالُوا إِنَّكَ زَوَّجْتَ عَلِيّاً بِمَهْرٍ خَسِيسٍ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ مَا أَنَا زَوَّجْتُ عَلِيّاً وَ لَكِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ زَوَّجَهُ لَيْلَةً أَسْرَى بِي عِنْدَ سِدْرَةِ الْمُنْتَهَى أَوْحَى اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ إِلَى السِّدْرَةِ أَنِ انْثُرِي فَنَثَرَتِ الدُّرَّ وَ الْجَوْهَرَ عَلَى الْحُورِ الْعِينِ فَهُنَّ يَتَهَادَيْن

جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا حَقُّ الزَّوْجِ عَلَى الْمَرْأَةِ فَقَالَ لَهَا تُطِيعُهُ وَ لَا تَعْصِيهِ وَ لَا تَصَدَّقُ مِنْ بَيْتِهَا شَيْئاً إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ وَ لَا تَصُومُ تَطَوُّعاً إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ وَ لَا تَمْنَعُهُ نَفْسَهَا وَ إِنْ كَانَتْ عَلَى ظَهْرِ قَتَبٍ‌[1] وَ لَا تَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْتِهَا إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ فَإِنْ خَرَجَتْ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِهِ لَعَنَتْهَا مَلَ

A woman came to the Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and said: "O Messenger of Allah (swt), what is the right of a husband over his wife?" Imam (as) said: "She must obey him and not disobey him. She must not give anything in charity from his house except with his permission, and

إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلَ الرَّحْمَنِ ع شَكَا إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ خُلُقَ سَارَةَ فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ إِلَيْهِ أَنَّ مَثَلَ الْمَرْأَةِ مَثَلُ الضِّلْعِ إِنْ أَقَمْتَهُ انْكَسَرَ وَ إِنْ تَرَكْتَهُ‌ اسْتَمْتَعْتَ بِهِ‌[1] قُلْتُ مَنْ قَالَ هَذَا فَغَضِبَ ثُمَّ قَالَ هَذَا وَ اللَّهِ قَوْلُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص.

Hadith.4527 - Ibrahim (as), the Friend of the Most Merciful (swt), complained to Allah (swt), the Mighty and Majestic, about the behavior of Sarah {s.a}. So Allah (swt), the Mighty and Majestic, revealed to him: "The example of a woman is like the example of a rib, if you try to straighten it, it will break, and if you

Hadith.4618 - Imam (as) said: "May Allah have mercy on the Musarwalat (those who wear trousers or are modestly covered)."

أَكْثَرُ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ مِنَ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ النِّسَاءُ- عَلِمَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ ضَعْفَهُنَّ فَرَحِمَهُنَّ.

"The majority of the inhabitants of Paradise will be the weak women. Allah (swt), the Almighty, knew their weakness and thus had mercy on them."

سُئِلَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ يَنْكِحُ جَارِيَةَ امْرَأَتِهِ ثُمَّ يَسْأَلُهَا أَنْ تَجْعَلَهُ فِي حِلٍّ فَتَأْبَى فَيَقُولُ إِذاً لَأُطَلِّقَنَّكِ وَ يَجْتَنِبُ فِرَاشَهَا فَتَجْعَلُهُ فِي حِلٍّ قَالَ هَذَا غَاصِبٌ فَأَيْنَ هُوَ عَنِ اللُّطْفِ‌[1].

Hadith.4651 - Salih ibn Uqbah narrated from Sulayman ibn Salih from Abu Abdullah (as) who was asked about a man who engages in intercourse with his wife's bondwoman and then asks his wife to pardon him, but she refuses. He then says: "If you do not pardon me, I will divorce you," and he avoids her bed until she pardons

قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ع لِبَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ‌ قُلْ فِي طَلَبِ الْوَلَدِ رَبِّ لا تَذَرْنِي فَرْداً وَ أَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْوارِثِينَ‌ وَ اجْعَلْ‌ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ وَلِيًّا يَرِثُنِي‌ فِي حَيَاتِي وَ يَسْتَغْفِرُ لِي بَعْدَ مَوْتِي وَ اجْعَلْهُ لِي خَلْقاً سَوِيّاً[1] وَ لَا تَجْعَلْ لِلشَّيْطَانِ فِيهِ نَصِيباً اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَ أَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ سَبْعِينَ م

إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لَيَرْحَمُ الرَّجُلَ لِشِدَّةِ حُبِّهِ لِوَلَدِهِ

النَّبِيُّ ص مَا لَكَ قَالَ خَيْرٌ قَالَ قُلْ قَالَ خَرَجْتُ وَ الْمَرْأَةُ تَمْخَضُ فَأُخْبِرْتُ أَنَّهَا وَلَدَتْ جَارِيَةً فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ص الْأَرْضُ تُقِلُّهَا وَ السَّمَاءُ تُظِلُّهَا وَ اللَّهُ يَرْزُقُهَا وَ هِيَ رَيْحَانَةٌ تَشَمُّهَا ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ فَقَالَ مَنْ كَانَ لَهُ ابْنَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ فَهُوَ مَقْرُوحٌ‌[1] وَ مَنْ كَانَ لَهُ ابْنَتَانِ فَيَا غَوْثَاهْ بِاللَّهِ وَ مَنْ كَانَ لَ

قَالَ ع‌ أَحِبُّوا الصِّبْيَانَ وَ ارْحَمُوهُمْ وَ إِذَا وَعَدْتُمُوهُمْ فَفُوا لَهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَا يَرَوْنَ إِلَّا أَنَّكُمْ تَرْزُقُونَهُمْ.

Hadith.4702 - The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: "Love the children and have mercy on them. When you promise them something, fulfill it for them, for they only perceive that you are the ones who provide for them."

بِرُّ الرَّجُلِ بِوَلَدِهِ بِرُّهُ بِوَالِدَيْهِ[3]

"عَقِيقَةُ أَحْمَدَ " قَالُوا لِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ سَمَّيْتَهُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَ "سَمَّيْتُهُ أَحْمَدَ لِمَحْمَدَةِ أَهْلِ اَلسَّمَاءِ وَ اَلْأَرْضِ لَهُ".

Hadith.4748 - Salih ibn Uqbah narrated that he heard the Righteous Servant (Imam Musa ibn Jafar Al-Kadhim (as)) say: "It is recommended for a boy to be lively and energetic in his childhood so that he may grow to be gentle and patient in his adulthood."

مَتِّعُوهُنَّ أَيْ جَمِّلُوهُنَ‌[1] بِمَا قَدَرْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ مَعْرُوفٍ فَإِنَّهُنَّ يَرْجِعْنَ بِكَآبَةٍ وَ وَحْشَةٍ وَ هَمٍّ عَظِيمٍ وَ شَمَاتَةٍ مِنْ أَعْدَائِهِنَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ كَرِيمٌ يَسْتَحْيِي وَ يُحِبُّ أَهْلَ الْحَيَاءِ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ أَشَدُّكُمْ إِكْرَاماً لِحَلَائِلِهِمْ.

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَهْجُرُ امْرَأَتَهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ طَلَاقٍ وَ لَا يَمِينٍ سَنَةً فَلَا يَأْتِي فِرَاشَهَا قَالَ لِيَأْتِ أَهْلَهُ وَ قَالَ ع أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ آلَى مِنِ امْرَأَتِهِ وَ الْإِيلَاءُ أَنْ يَقُولَ وَ اللَّهِ لَا أُجَامِعُكِ كَذَا وَ كَذَا[3] وَ اللَّهِ لَأَغِيظَنَّكِ ثُمَّ يُغَايِظَهَا فَإِنَّهُ يُتَرَبَّصُ بِهِ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ ثُمَّ يُؤْخَذُ بَعْدَ الْأَرْبَعَةِ الْأَشْهُرِ
