قَضَى أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع فِي رَجُلٍ جَاءَ بِهِ رَجُلَانِ وَ قَالا إِنَّ هَذَا سَرَقَ دِرْعاً فَجَعَلَ الرَّجُلُ يُنَاشِدُهُ لَمَّا نَظَرَ فِي الْبَيِّنَةِ وَ جَعَلَ يَقُولُ وَ اللَّهِ لَوْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مَا قَطَعَ يَدِي أَبَداً قَالَ وَ لِمَ قَالَ يُخْبِرُهُ رَبُّهُ أَنِّي بَرِيءٌ فَيُبَرِّئُنِي بِبَرَاءَتِي فَلَمَّا رَأَى مُنَاشَدَتَهُ إِيَّاهُ دَعَا الشَّاهِدَيْنِ وَ قَالَ اتَّقِيَا اللَّهَ وَ لَا
