الصَّادِقُ ع‌[4]- وَ هَذَا يَفْتَحُ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ أَبْوَاباً كَثِيرَةً[5].

Hadith.851 - The Prophet (sw) saw phlegm (or a spittle) in the mosque. He walked over to it with a palm branch from the branches of Ibn Tab and scraped it off, then returned backward and continued his prayer. وَ نَهَى ص عَنِ الْجِمَاعِ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ وَ مُسْتَدْبِرَهَا[6] وَ نَهَى عَنِ اسْتِقْبَالِ الْقِبْلَةِ بِبَوْلٍ أَوْ غَائِطٍ[7].

Hadith.852 - The Prophet, forbade engaging in sexual intercourse while facing or with one's back to the Qiblah. He also forbade facing the Qiblah when urinating or defecating.

لَا يَبْزُقَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ قِبَلَ وَجْهِهِ وَ لَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَ لْيَبْزُقْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ وَ تَحْتِ قَدَمِهِ الْيُسْرَى

مَنْ حَبَسَ رِيقَهُ إِجْلَالًا لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فِي صَلَاتِهِ أَوْرَثَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى صِحَّةً حَتَّى الْمَمَاتِ. وَ قَدْ رُوِيَ فِيمَنْ لَا يَهْتَدِي إِلَى الْقِبْلَةِ فِي مَفَازَةٍ أَنَّهُ يُصَلِّي إِلَى أَرْبَعِ جَوَانِبَ[1]

لَا صَلَاةَ إِلَّا إِلَى الْقِبْلَةِ قَالَ قُلْتُ وَ أَيْنَ حَدُّ الْقِبْلَةِ قَالَ مَا بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَ الْمَغْرِبِ قِبْلَةٌ كُلُّهُ قَالَ قُلْتُ فَمَنْ صَلَّى لِغَيْرِ الْقِبْلَةِ أَوْ فِي يَوْمِ غَيْمٍ‌[2] فِي غَيْرِ الْوَقْتِ قَالَ يُعِيدُ[3].

Hadith.855 – Zurarah narrated from Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) that He said: "There is no prayer except toward the Qiblah." Zurarah asked: "And where is the boundary of the Qiblah?" وَ قَالَ فِي حَدِيثٍ آخَرَ ذَكَرَهُ لَهُ‌[4] ثُمَّ اسْتَقْبِلِ الْقِبْلَةَ بِوَجْهِكَ وَ لَا تَقَلَّبْ بِوَجْهِكَ عَنِ الْقِبْلَةِ فَتَفْسُدَ صَلَاتُكَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ يَقُولُ لِنَبِيِّهِ ص فِي الْفَرِيضَةِ فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرامِ وَ حَيْثُ ما كُنْتُمْ فَوَلُّوا وُجُوهَكُمْ شَطْرَهُ‌ فَقُمْ مُنْتَصِباً فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص قَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يُقِمْ صُلْبَهُ فَلَا صَلَاةَ لَهُ وَ

Hadith.856 - In another narration, the Imam said : "Then turn your face toward the Qiblah and do not turn your face away from the Qiblah, lest your prayer become invalid. Allah (swt), the Mighty and Majestic, says to His Prophet in the obligatory prayer: 'Turn your face toward the Sacred Mosque (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:144)

وَقَالَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ لِزُرَارَةَ: «لاَ تُعَادُ اَلصَّلاَةُ إِلاَّ مِنْ خَمْسَةٍ اَلطَّهُورِ وَ اَلْوَقْتِ وَ اَلْقِبْلَةِ وَ اَلرُّكُوعِ وَ اَلسُّجُودِ.

Hadith.857 - Imam (as) said to Zurarah: "The prayer is not to be repeated except for five things: purification (taharah), time (observing the prayer time), facing the Qiblah, bowing (ruku'), and prostration (Sujood)”.

وَ رُوِيَ‌ أَنَّهُ إِذَا عَصَفَتِ الرِّيحُ بِمَنْ فِي السَّفِينَةِ وَ لَمْ يَقْدِرْ عَلَى أَنْ يَدُورَ إِلَى الْقِبْلَةِ صَلَّى إِلَى صَدْرِ السَّفِينَةِ[1].

Hadith.858 - It is narrated that "If the wind blows strongly upon someone on a ship, and they are unable to turn toward the Qiblah, they should pray facing the front of the ship”.

وَقَالَ اَلنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ: «كُلُّ وَاعِظٍ قِبْلَةٌ وَ كُلُّ مَوْعُوظٍ قِبْلَةٌ لِلْوَاعِظِ.

Hadith.859 - The Prophet, said: "Every preacher is a Qiblah, and every one being preached to is a Qiblah for the preacher."

وَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِلصَّادِقِ ع‌ إِنِّي أَكُونُ فِي السَّفَرِ وَ لَا أَهْتَدِي إِلَى الْقِبْلَةِ بِاللَّيْلِ فَقَالَ أَ تَعْرِفُ الْكَوْكَبَ الَّذِي يُقَالُ لَهُ الْجَدْيَ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَاجْعَلْهُ عَلَى يَمِينِكَ وَ إِذَا كُنْتَ عَلَى طَرِيقِ الْحَجِّ فَاجْعَلْهُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْكَ‌[2].

إِنَّا نَأْمُرُ صِبْيَانَنَا بِالصَّلَاةِ وَ هُمْ أَبْنَاءُ خَمْسِ سِنِينَ فَمُرُوا صِبْيَانَكُمْ بِالصَّلَاةِ إِذَا كَانُوا أَبْنَاءَ سَبْعِ سِنِينَ وَ نَحْنُ نَأْمُرُ صِبْيَانَنَا بِالصِّيَامِ إِذَا كَانُوا أَبْنَاءَ سَبْعِ سِنِينَ مَا أَطَاقُوا مِنْ صِيَامِ الْيَوْمِ إِنْ كَانَ إِلَى نِصْفِ النَّهَارِ أَوْ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ أَوْ أَقَلَّ فَإِذَا غَلَبَهُمُ الْعَطَشُ أَوِ الْجُوعُ أَفْطَرُوا حَتَّى يَتَعَوَّدُوا

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا ع- أَوْ سُئِلَ وَ أَنَا أَسْمَعُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَخْتِنُ‌[1] وَلَدَهُ وَ هُوَ لَا يُصَلِّي الْيَوْمَ وَ الْيَوْمَيْنِ فَقَالَ وَ كَمْ أَتَى عَلَى الْغُلَامِ فَقَالَ ثَمَانِيَ سِنِينَ فَقَالَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ يَتْرُكُ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ يُصِيبُهُ الْوَجَعُ قَالَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى نَحْوِ مَا يَقْدِرُ.

لِلْمُؤَذِّنِ فِيمَا بَيْنَ الْأَذَانِ وَ الْإِقَامَةِ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ الشَّهِيدِ الْمُتَشَحِّطِ بِدَمِهِ[2] فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ ع- إِنَّهُمْ يَجْتَلِدُونَ[3] عَلَى الْأَذَانِ فَقَالَ كَلَّا إِنَّهُ يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ يَطْرَحُونَ الْأَذَانَ عَلَى ضُعَفَائِهِمْ فَتِلْكَ لُحُومٌ حَرَّمَهَا اللَّهُ عَلَى النَّارِ[4]

وَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ ع‌ آخِرُ مَا فَارَقْتُ عَلَيْهِ حَبِيبَ قَلْبِي ص أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَا عَلِيُّ- إِذَا صَلَّيْتَ فَصَلِّ صَلَاةَ أَضْعَفِ مَنْ خَلْفَكَ وَ لَا تَتَّخِذَنَّ مُؤَذِّناً يَأْخُذُ عَلَى أَذَانِهِ أَجْراً.

Hadith.870 - Imam Ali (as) said: "The last thing my beloved (the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said to me before parting was: 'O’ Ali, when you lead the prayer, lead it considering the weakest among those behind you. And do not appoint a mu'adhdhin who takes payment for his adhan.'"

التَّكْبِيرُ جَزْمٌ فِي الْأَذَانِ مَعَ الْإِفْصَاحِ بِالْهَاءِ وَ الْأَلِفِ‌[6].

Hadith.871 - Khalid ibn Najih narrated from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) that He said: "The takbir (saying 'Allahu Akbar') in the adhan must be pronounced firmly, with clear articulation of the 'ha' and 'alif'“.

إِنَّ بِلَالًا كَانَ عَبْداً صَالِحاً فَقَالَ لَا أُؤَذِّنُ لِأَحَدٍ بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ فَتُرِكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ[1] حَيَّ عَلَى خَيْرِ الْعَمَلِ.

'I will not call the adhan for anyone after the Messenger of Allah (sw).' Therefore, on that day, 'Hayya 'ala khayr al-'Amal' (Hasten to the best of deeds) was left out."

مِنَ السُّنَّةِ إِذَا أَذَّنَ الرَّجُلُ أَنْ يَضَعَ إِصْبَعَيْهِ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ.

Hadith.873 - Al-Hasan ibn al-Sari reported from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) that He said: "It is part of the Sunnah (tradition) for a person giving the adhan (call to prayer) to place his fingers in his ears."

الْأَذَانُ وَ الْإِقَامَةُ مَجْزُومَانِ وَ فِي خَبَرٍ آخَرَ مَوْقُوفَانِ.

Hadith.874 - Khalid ibn Najih narrated from Imam (as) that He said: "The adhan and the iqamah must be recited with firmness." In another narration, it states, "They must be delivered with a pause."

لَا يُجْزِيكَ مِنَ الْأَذَانِ إِلَّا مَا أَسْمَعْتَ نَفْسَكَ أَوْ فَهِمْتَهُ 9 وَ أَفْصِحْ بِالْأَلِفِ وَ الْهَاءِ[3] وَ صَلِّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ وَ آلِهِ ص كُلَّمَا ذَكَرْتَهُ أَوْ ذَكَرَهُ ذَاكِرٌ عِنْدَكَ فِي أَذَانٍ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ وَ كُلَّمَا[4] اشْتَدَّ صَوْتُكَ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ تُجْهِدَ نَفْسَكَ كَانَ مَنْ يَسْمَعُ أَكْثَرَ وَ كَانَ أَجْرُكَ فِي ذَلِكَ أَعْظَمَ.

Hadith.875 – Zurarah narrated from Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) that He said: "The adhan is not sufficient for you unless you hear it yourself or understand it. إِذَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ حَرُمَ الْكَلَامُ عَلَى الْإِمَامِ وَ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْمَسْجِدِ إِلَّا فِي تَقْدِيمِ إِمَامٍ‌[3].

Hadith.879 - Zurarah narrated from Imam Abu Ja'far (as) that He said: "When the iqamah (second call to prayer) is pronounced, speaking becomes prohibited for the Imam and the people of the mosque, except in the case of appointing an Imam."

وَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ ع قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص‌ يَؤُمُّكُمْ أَقْرَؤُكُمْ وَ يُؤَذِّنُ لَكُمْ خِيَارُكُمْ وَ فِي حَدِيثٍ آخَرَ أَفْصَحُكُمْ.

Hadith.880 - Imam Ali (as) said that the Messenger of Allah (sw) said: "The one who leads you in prayer should be the one who has the most knowledge of the Qur'an among you, and the one who calls the adhan (mu'adhdhin) should be the best among you." In another narration, it is said: "the most articulate among you."

مَنْ أَذَّنَ فِي مِصْرٍ مِنْ أَمْصَارِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ سَنَةً وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ

الْمُؤَذِّنُ يَغْفِرُ اللَّهُ لَهُ مَدَّ بَصَرِهِ وَ مَدَّ صَوْتِهِ فِي السَّمَاءِ[1] وَ يُصَدِّقُهُ كُلُّ رَطْبٍ وَ يَابِسٍ يَسْمَعُهُ وَ لَهُ مِنْ كُلِّ مَنْ يُصَلِّي مَعَهُ فِي مَسْجِدِهِ سَهْمٌ وَ لَهُ مِنْ كُلِّ مَنْ يُصَلِّي بِصَوْتِهِ حَسَنَةٌ

وَ قَالَ ع‌ مَنْ أَذَّنَ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ مُحْتَسِباً[2] جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَا ذَنْبَ لَهُ.

Hadith.883 - Imam (as) said: "Whoever calls the adhan (call to prayer) for seven years with the intention of seeking Allah’s (swt) reward will come on the Day of Judgment without any sins."

وَ رُوِيَ‌ أَنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ إِذَا سَمِعَتِ الْأَذَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ قَالَتْ هَذِهِ أَصْوَاتُ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ ص بِتَوْحِيدِ اللَّهِ فَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ اللَّهَ لِأُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ ص حَتَّى يَفْرُغُوا مِنْ تِلْكَ الصَّلَاةِ.

Hadith.884 - It is narrated: "When the angels hear the adhan (call to prayer) from the people of the earth, they say, 'These are the voices of the nation of Muhammad (sw) declaring the oneness of Allah (swt).' They then seek forgiveness from Allah (swt) for the nation of Muhammad until the prayer is completed."

«إِنَّ أَدْنَى مَا يُجْزِي مِنَ اَلْأَذَانِ أَنْ يَفْتَتِحَ اَللَّيْلَ بِأَذَانٍ وَ إِقَامَةٍ وَ يَفْتَتِحَ اَلنَّهَارَ بِأَذَانٍ وَ إِقَامَةٍ وَ يُجْزِيكَ فِي سَائِرِ اَلصَّلاَةِ إِقَامَةٌ بِغَيْرِ أَذَانٍ.

Hadith.885 – Zurarah narrated from Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) that He said: "The minimum that suffices for the adhan is to begin the night with an adhan and iqamah and to begin the day with an adhan and iqamah. For the other prayers during the day, an iqamah without an adhan suffices."

وَ رَوَى عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سِنَانٍ عَنِ الصَّادِقِ ع‌ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَ الْعَصْرِ بِأَذَانٍ وَ إِقَامَتَيْنِ وَ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَ الْعِشَاءِ فِي الْحَضَرِ مِنْ غَيْرِ عِلَّةٍ بِأَذَانٍ وَاحِدٍ وَ إِقَامَتَيْنِ‌[2].

Hadith.886 - Abdullah ibn Sinan narrated from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) that: "The Messenger of Allah (sw) combined the Dhuhr (noon) and 'Asr (afternoon) prayers with one adhan and two iqamah, and he combined the Maghrib (sunset) and 'Isha (night) prayers in the same setting without any particular reason, u

وَ رُوِيَ‌ أَنَّ مَنْ صَلَّى بِأَذَانٍ وَ إِقَامَةٍ صَلَّى خَلْفَهُ صَفَّانِ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ وَ مَنْ صَلَّى بِإِقَامَةٍ بِغَيْرِ أَذَانٍ صَلَّى خَلْفَهُ صَفٌّ وَاحِدٌ وَ حَدُّ الصَّفِّ مَا بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَ الْمَغْرِبِ.

Hadith.887 - It is narrated: "Whoever prays with both the adhan (call to prayer) and iqamah (second call to prayer), two rows of angels pray behind him. And whoever prays with just the iqamah without the adhan, one row of angels prays behind him, and the extent of the row is from the east to the west."

- مَنْ أَذَّنَ وَ أَقَامَ صَلَّى وَرَاءَهُ صَفَّانِ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ وَ إِنْ أَقَامَ بِغَيْرِ أَذَانٍ صَلَّى عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَاحِدٌ وَ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ وَاحِدٌ ثُمَّ قَالَ اغْتَنِمِ الصَّفَّيْنِ.

Hadith.888 - In the narration of Abbas ibn Hilal from Abu Al-Hasan Imam al-Ridha (as) said: "Whoever gives the adhan (call to prayer) and the iqamah (second call to prayer) will have two rows of angels praying behind him. If he only recites the iqamah without the adhan, then one angel will pray on his right and one on

مَنْ صَلَّى بِأَذَانٍ وَ إِقَامَةٍ صَلَّى خَلْفَهُ صَفَّانِ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ لَا يُرَى طَرَفَاهُمَا وَ مَنْ صَلَّى بِإِقَامَةٍ صَلَّى خَلْفَهُ مَلَكٌ.

مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يَسْمَعُ أَذَانَ الصُّبْحِ- اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِإِقْبَالِ نَهَارِكَ وَ إِدْبَارِ لَيْلِكَ وَ حُضُورِ صَلَوَاتِكَ وَ أَصْوَاتِ دُعَاتِكَ أَنْ تَتُوبَ عَلَيَ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ* وَ قَالَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ حِينَ يَسْمَعُ أَذَانَ الْمَغْرِبِ ثُمَّ مَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ أَوْ لَيْلَتِهِ مَاتَ تَائِباً وَ كَانَ ابْنُ النَّبَّاحِ[4] يَقُولُ فِي أَذَانِهِ- حَيَّ عَلَى خَيْرِ الْعَمَلِ

مُصَدِّقاً مُحْتَسِباً وَ أَنَا أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً رَسُولُ اللَّهِ أَكْتَفِي بِهِمَا[2] عَنْ كُلِّ مَنْ أَبَى وَ جَحَدَ وَ أُعِينُ بِهِمَا مَنْ أَقَرَّ وَ شَهِدَ كَانَ لَهُ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ عَدَدُ مَنْ أَنْكَرَ وَ جَحَدَ وَ عَدَدُ مَنْ أَقَرَّ وَ شَهِدَ.

Hadith.891 - Harith ibn al-Mughira al-Nadri narrated from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) that He said: "Whoever hears the mu'adhdhin (caller to prayer) say, 'I bear witness that there is no god but Allah (swt), and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah (sw),' and then, affirming and seeking rewa

وَ قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ لِمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ‌ يَا مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ مُسْلِمٍ لَا تَدَعَنَّ ذِكْرَ اللَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ وَ لَوْ سَمِعْتَ الْمُنَادِيَ يُنَادِي بِالْأَذَانِ وَ أَنْتَ عَلَى الْخَلَاءِ فَاذْكُرِ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ قُلْ كَمَا يَقُولُ الْمُؤَذِّنُ.

Hadith.892 - Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) said to Muhammad ibn Muslim: "O’ Muhammad ibn Muslim, never neglect the remembrance of Allah (swt) in any situation. Even if you hear the caller calling the adhan while you are in a state of relieving yourself, remember Allah (swt), the Mighty and Majestic, and say what

إِنْ كَانَ ذَكَرَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ فَلْيُصَلِّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ وَ آلِهِ وَ لْيُقِمْ وَ إِنْ كَانَ قَدْ دَخَلَ فِي الْقِرَاءَةِ فَلْيُتِمَّ صَلَاتَهُ‌[3].

سُئِلَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنْ رَجُلٍ نَسِيَ مِنَ الْأَذَانِ حَرْفاً فَذَكَرَهُ حِينَ فَرَغَ مِنَ الْأَذَانِ وَ الْإِقَامَةِ قَالَ يَرْجِعُ إِلَى الْحَرْفِ الَّذِي نَسِيَهُ فَلْيَقُلْهُ وَ لْيَقُلْ مِنْ ذَلِكَ الْحَرْفِ إِلَى آخِرِهِ وَ لَا يُعِيدُ الْأَذَانَ كُلَّهُ وَ لَا الْإِقَامَةَ.

Hadith.894 - It was narrated from Ammar al-Sabati that He said: "Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) was asked about a man who forgot a word during the adhan (call to prayer) and remembered it after completing the adhan and iqamah (second call to prayer). Hadith.895 - Muawiya ibn Wahb asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) about the practice of "tathwib" (additional announcements or calls made between the adhan and the iqamah). Imam (as) replied: "We do not recognize it”.

وَ كَانَ عَلِيٌّ ع يَقُولُ‌ لَا بَأْسَ أَنْ يُؤَذِّنَ الْغُلَامُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَحْتَلِمَ‌[3] وَ لَا بَأْسَ أَنْ يُؤَذِّنَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ وَ هُوَ جُنُبٌ وَ لَا يُقِيمُ حَتَّى يَغْتَسِلَ‌[4].

Hadith.896 - Imam Ali (as) used to say: "There is no issue if a boy calls the adhan (call to prayer) before reaching the age of puberty, and there is no issue if the mu'adhdhin (caller to prayer) is in a state of janabah (major ritual impurity), but he should not perform the iqamah (second call to prayer) until he has

Hadith.897 - Abu Bakr al-Hadhrami and Kulaib al-Asadi narrated from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) that he taught them the adhan, saying: "Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar (Allah (swt) is the Greatest, repeated four times). فِي الْمُؤَذِّنِينَ إِنَّهُمُ الْأُمَنَاءُ[2]

وَ قَالَ ع‌ صَلِّ الْجُمُعَةَ بِأَذَانِ هَؤُلَاءِ[3] فَإِنَّهُمْ أَشَدُّ شَيْ‌ءٍ مُوَاظَبَةً عَلَى الْوَقْتِ. وَ يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يَكُونَ بَيْنَ الْأَذَانِ وَ الْإِقَامَةِ جَلْسَةٌ إِلَّا الْمَغْرِبَ فَإِنَّهُ يُجْزِي أَنْ يَكُونَ بَيْنَ الْأَذَانِ وَ الْإِقَامَةِ نَفَسٌ‌[4].

Hadith.899 - Imam (as) said: "Pray the Jumu'ah (Jumu’ah prayer) with the adhan of these people, for they are the most diligent in observing the time." [AL SADUQ] There should be a sitting between the adhan and iqamah, except for Maghrib, where it suffices to have only a breath's interval between the adhan and iqamah.

يُجْزِي فِي السَّفَرِ إِقَامَةٌ بِغَيْرِ أَذَانٍ.

Hadith.900 - Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Abdullah narrated from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) that He said: "In travel, the iqamah (second call to prayer) suffices without the adhan (call to prayer)."
